In accordance with provisions of the law “On Judicial Power”, the Board of Justice listened to report of the Court Administration on its work in 2013.
The Court Administration included in its report information about budgetary revenues and expenses, maintenance and development of public information systems, ensuring of work of judicial institutions, results of work of judicial institutions, project management and international cooperation.
As priorities for 2014, the Court Administration determined security in courts, simplification of solution on anonymisation of court rulings, development of e-cases on the website www.tiesas.lv, and improvement of the Court Information System (CIS).
The Court Administration is state administration institution subordinated to the Minister of Justice, which organises and ensures administrative work of district (city) courts, regional courts and Land Registry offices.
