Council for the Judiciary adopted decisions on the transfer of two district (city) court judges – judge of Ogre District Court Zanna Gaigale-Prudnikova is transferred to Riga City Pardaugava Court and judge of Jelgava Court Gunita Cepule – to Riga City Latgale District Court. They had applied for vacant positions in these courts.
The Council for the Judiciary also made decisions on the determination of the courts, where the judicial duties will be carried out by judges appointed by the decision of the Saeima of 25 January. Ilze Andruskina is assigned to carry out duties at Riga Courthouse of Administrative District Court, and Jolanta Uminska – in the Land Registry Office of Riga City Vidzeme District Court.
The Council for the Judiciary adopted the decisions in the sitting of 12 February 2018 in a written procedure.
