To establish single understanding about mission and tasks of the Council for the Judiciary and role thereof in Latvia, and to promote organisation of work, efficiency and directions of activity of the Council for the Judiciary in long-term, the Council for the Judiciary considers it necessary to elaborate strategy for the Council for the Judiciary for three years.
The Council for the Judiciary agreed on support to elaboration of the strategy, prior fields of activity to be included in the strategy, and on course of procedure of elaboration of strategy.
The decision was adopted by the Council for the Judiciary at the sitting of 23 May.
