The Council for the Judiciary proposed to the Saeima to release Dainis Peteris Klavins, judge of Vidzeme District Court, from office because of his state of health.
The judge had asked the Council for the Judiciary to encourage the Saeima to release him from office on the basis of Section 82, Paragraph one, Clause 3 of the Law "On Judicial Power".
The decision was adopted by the Council for the Judiciary in a written procedure on 23 October.
