The Council for the Judiciary stated that Nora Pakule will discharge judicial duties in Dobele district court.
Pakule was appointed to the office of a judge of a district (city) court by the decision of the Saeima (Parliament) on 24 September. In accordance with Section 60 and Section 8911 Paragraph Two of the law “On Judicial Power”, the Council for the Judiciary determines the court for a judge to discharge judicial duties.
The Council for the Judiciary adopted the decision in written procedure on 6 October.
