The Council for the Judiciary agreed to reassign Dzintars Melbardis, Judge of the City of Riga Northern District Court, to a position of Judge of Ogre District Court, and Ieva Viskere, Judge of Administrative District Court, to a position of Judge of Regional Administrative Court.
Both judges had applied for vacant positions of judges.
The Council for the Judiciary reviewed an issue in the sitting of 12 September.
