The Judicial Council has amended the procedure for the selection of candidates for the position of a judge of a district (city) courts and regional courts, providing that the form of testing professional skills shall be determined by the commission.
Previously, the candidate was required to complete the test in a computerized testing room. The Commission for the Selection of Judicial Candidates acknowledged that in a pandemic situation the rule of a computer-based form only is too restrictive for a large number of candidates to take the test at the same time.
The decision was adopted by the Judicial Council in a written procedure on 3 November.
