Having heard the information provided by a working group set up by the Council for the Judiciary on the development of a new procedure for the selection of judicial candidates of district (city) courts and regional courts, the Council extended the existing candidate selection procedure until April 1.
The working group informed that the section of competencies needed for the position of a judge has already been developed, but it still has to be agreed on the training model for the candidates, the composition of the evaluation commission, the recruitment resources and other issues.
The issue was addressed by the Council for the Judiciary at the meeting on 10 February 2020.
