Edvins Balsevics, the director of the Court Administration, familiarised the Council for the Judiciary with priorities, novelties and problematic issues of work of the Court Administration in 2014, at the sitting of the Council for the Judiciary held on 18 May.   

The director of the Court Administration reported on revenues and expenditures of budget of courts, and on ensuring of work of court institutions (personnel management, material and technical means, and IT means), project management, and results of performance of court institutions.  

Stressing topical issues in 2015, the director of the Court Administration mentioned five fundamental priorities: security solution in courts, electronic administration of paid services of court institutions (state fees, stamp duty), electronically signed corroboration requests, development of the court information system, and implementation of e-auctions.
