In the sitting of the Council for the Judiciary, which will be held on Monday, 18 May, the Court Administration will provide a report on performance in 2014. The Court Administration is an institution subordinated to the Minister of Justice, which organises and ensures administrative work of district (city) courts, regional courts and Land Registry Offices.
The work group, which consists of representatives of the Judicial Ethics Committee, the Ministry of Justice and the Supreme Court, will, in turn, present draft projects of the Guidelines on Communication of the Court System and Strategy of Court Communication.
The Council for the Judiciary will also discuss position in issue, which is stipulated in the Judicial Disciplinary Liability Law, regarding limitation to publish names of judges called to disciplinary liability. Upon application of the Supreme Court, the Constitutional Court initiated the case on compliance of this provision with Article 100 of the Constitution, and the Council for the Judiciary is asked to provide its opinion in this regard.
The agenda of the sitting of the Council for the Judiciary also includes judicial careers and other issues.
The sitting of the Council for the Judiciary will be held on Monday, 18 May, in Room 461 of the Supreme Court, the beginning is at 13.00 o’clock.
