Repeatedly drawing the attention to disproportionately low remuneration of court employees, the Council for the Judiciary urges to allocate sufficient funds to the court system, so that it would be possible to increase wages of employees of courts and public prosecutor’s office until the maximum amount within the unified system of remuneration of officials and employees of state and municipal institutions.

For example, in accordance with calculation made by the Ministry of Justice, currently the wage of the interpreter of a district (city) court and a regional court is only 47%, and wage of an assistant to a judge is 57% of the maximum amount of remuneration of respective post group stipulated in the law.

However, the Council for the Judiciary had already decided on attraction of the system of judicial wages to average wage in the state and equal commensuration of judicial wages to remuneration of lawyers employed in the executive power, on 31 August 2015.
