Appointment of heads of departments of land register is supported
The Board of Justice in its session on the 20th of November in written proceedings, supported appointment of ten heads of district departments of land register in their posts.
Ingrida Bruvere is appointed for 5-year term in the post of the Head of department of land register of Aluksne district court; Vija Puzule – in Balvi district; Inese Kirsteine – in Cesis district; Dainida Sarma – in Jurmala city; Elina Volika – in Ludza district; Baiba Caunite – in Madona district; Lidija Micule – in Preili district; Marite Hazenfuse – in Tukums district; Lolita Marovska – in Valmiera district and Gunars Silins is appointed for the post of the head of department of land register of Rezekne city court.
Heads of departments of land register of district courts are appointed in their posts for 5-year term by the Minister of Justice, coordinating this decision with the Council of Justice. All candidates for the posts of heads of departments of land register supported by the Council of Justice are appointed in their posts repeatedly. V.Puzule, I.Kirsteine, E.Volika, B.Caunite, L.Micule, G.Silins, M.Hazenfuse and L.Marovska have managed departments of land register since 1993 already; however, D.Sarma has managed department of land register since 1996. gada, and I.Bruvere – since 1999.
Judges have been transferred in their posts
The Board of Justice supports transfer of Valdis Vazdikis, the judge of Riga city Zemgale Suburb court in the post of a judge of regional court and, when being approved by the Saeima for the post of a judge of regional court, instructs him to execute his duties of a judge in Riga regional court.
In his turn, the judge Dzintars Melbardis will be transferred in the post of a judge from Administrative district court to Riga city Ziemelu district court as from the 20th of December.
Both judges had submitted applications in tender for vacant posts of judges in concrete courts.
Court is determined for newly appointed judge to execute her duties in
The Board of Justice instructed the judge Marina Dombrovska to execute duties of a judge in Riga court house of Administrative district court.
By decision of the Saeima of the 1st of November, M.Dombrovska is appointed in the post of a judge of district (city) court.
